How does the PWM control function work?

PWM control is a function that allows external control of the fan speed by varying the duty cycle (pulse width) of a pulse signal applied between the fan's PWM control lead wire and the negative lead wire.

By adjusting the fan speed according to operating conditions, power consumption and noise can be reduced.
