Does using a filter with a fan affect the airflow and static pressure?
Installing a filter causes pressure loss, which reduces the airflow and static pressure
that can be obtained from the fan.
When selecting a fan, be sure to allow sufficient performance margin to compensate
for the pressure loss caused by the filter.
Example:
Airflow and static pressure characteristics of a fan alone and with a filter installed
(120 mm square fan)

*Note: If the filter becomes clogged after long-term use, sufficient airflow may not
be maintained, which could lead to equipment malfunction.
Replacement filters are also available.
To maintain proper performance, replace the filter periodically.
