Is the electromagnetic brake built into the servo motor a power-off activated type?
Yes. The brake used in the servo motor is a power-off activated brake.
When brake power is ON, the brake is released, allowing the motor to rotate.
When brake power is OFF, the brake is engaged.
Please note that the brake built into the servo motor is a holding brake and
cannot be used for braking (deceleration or stopping) purposes.
The available brake supply voltages are DC 24 V and DC 90 V.
